This past Saturday, Berkley had her ballet recital. She has been waiting for this all year. She LOVES to dance on the "big stage." She has just completed her second year of ballet lessons, and she is hooked. She absolutely loves to dance. This is what makes her heart happy, just as boots bring Beckham to life! It makes it even more special that she is able to share this passion with her Aunt Amy, who is still dancing fabulously after all these years.
This year Berkley was a yodeling cowgirl. I know, what exactly is a yodeling cowgirl? She is better known as Jesse, the yodeling cowgirl from Toy Story 2. Berkley's class actually danced to the song from the movie. They were all adorable and extremely entertaining. Beckham loved the dance as well, because they were cowgirls with cowboy hats! Brenner didn't get to make the show this year; but if I am a betting gal, I'm sure he will have many other opportunities in the future!!!

Oh my goodness she is sooo cute! I am so proud of her! You can tell in the photos that she knows what she is doing and is very focused! Too cute! Wish we could have seen it! We will have to settle for a private show in your living room next time we come!

Berkley looks like Matt in those pictures. I also think Amy looks just like you. I have never thought that before until these pictures. How fun. I don't know anything about dance recitals!!
It's amazing to see Berkley come to life when she gets to dance on the "Big Stage!" She takes after her mom in the attention to detail department. Yes it's true, I'll be attending dance recidals, ballets, etc. for the next twenty+ years!
