Every year there is a Grandparent's Day celebration of some kind at St. John's. Even when the kids were in Mother's Day Out at First Friends they had a special day for grandparents to come and visit the school. And each time Brenner has invited Marmie and JT to this special celebration, he has had to "share" them with Beckham. But not this year. Since Brenner is now the only "b" at St. Johns, he had Marmie & JT all to himself. It was pretty evident that he felt pretty special! (Even though the day is meant to make the grandparents feel that way.)
From the minute Brenner's special guests arrived, he got busy showing them around. He had A LOT to explain about how his classroom "runs" every day. He really enjoyed his captive audience.
There is no doubt that his JT makes him feel pretty special!
And Marmie makes him feel like a superstar too!
Brenner also enjoyed showing Marmie & JT pictures of all his classmates. I'm pretty sure he named them all at least three times.
Finally, Brenner got to take Marmie & JT to his favorite place... the playground!
There wasn't any showing off or anything like that going on. Not at all!
This pretty much sums up his morning with Marmie & JT. The sign says it all.
Thank you Marmie & JT for attending yet another Grandparent's Day and for making Brenner feel so special not just this day but everyday!!!
