Since we had no game on Saturday, it was rescheduled for Thursday, which is the day we usually have practice. The weather wasn't much better either. The wind was ridiculous! Also, since the game was on a weekday, a few of our teammates couldn't make it. The other team had only a few players too, so the coaches and referee decided we would only play a "half-game." They had no complaints from anyone!!!
Before the game started, Beckham (#7) seemed to be checking out their competition. Too funny!
Matt gathered up his first three players who were willing to play and tried to get them ready for the game. Beckham was looking a little tired. (After all, it was a school day for him!)
Once he got warmed up, however, he had a great time. He loves kicking the ball all the way down the field! You can see the big grin spread across his face.
The game was short and sweet. The Wildcats did a great job and offered handshakes and high-fives once again to their opposing team.
Beckham then headed over to high-five his number one fan, JT. Beckham loves to have a cheering section!
The Wildcats will play again Saturday. Hope they are rested and ready to go! (And lets hope the winds die down a little!)
